SPEAK & SIP: Language Exchange
This time our theme is Childhood TV & Cartoons — the shows we watched after school, characters we loved, songs we still remember, and cartoons that shaped our sense of humor more than we’d like to admit.
We’ll talk about childhood favorites, national TV classics, animated characters, strange dubbing choices, and the difference between what children watched in different countries.
This edition will be a picnic in the park, so please come prepared: bring a blanket or something to sit on, your own food and drinks, and be ready to sit on the grass.
Instead of tables, we’ll have separate language groups sitting in different spots in the park. Join the group for the language you want to practise, use the conversation questions, and enjoy a relaxed outdoor exchange.
At Speak & Sip, we do things a little differently. There’s structure — but the atmosphere is still relaxed: social, friendly, and focused on actually improving our language skills.
