Tree Tour: Discovering the Beauty of the Proctor Creek Greenway Urban Forest
Join us for an enlightening exploration of the stunning forest and meadow ecosystems thriving along the Proctor Creek Greenway! 🌞
Opened in 2018, this beautiful 2.44-mile trail meanders through Grove Park, linking the Bankhead MARTA station to the Westside Beltline Connector. As we traverse this scenic route, you'll learn about the various disturbances the forest has faced and the pressures exerted on this vital land. Discover the ongoing restoration efforts aimed at protecting and enhancing both the forest and the urban waterway. Together, we will spotlight the importance of conscientious land stewardship and the mutual benefits trees and humans can bring to each other in challenging environments. 🌍💚
