Many individuals experiencing homelessness are striving to rebuild their lives. Yet, the lack of identification can make even the simplest steps feel insurmountable. Without an ID, securing jobs, housing, healthcare, and treatment programs becomes nearly impossible, trapping many in a cycle of homelessness.

On July 29, 2026, community leaders, businesses, advocates, and supporters will unite for the Homeless ID Project's 2nd Annual Sleep Out to raise awareness and essential funding for one of the most overlooked barriers to ending homelessness: identification.
