✨ Philippe Smets ✨ is the founder of Chocolat Philippe, the only bean-to-bar chocolate maker in the City of Sydney. Born in Belgium and now based in Sydney, Philippe carries a lifelong love of chocolate, both as a craft and as a way to pause, connect and return to the senses. His work as a chocolate maker has been recognised with multiple awards, including recent honours for his bean-to-bar and flavour expression bars.

On the evening before World Chocolate Day, Philippe will guide us through a mindfulness meditation where chocolate becomes our companion for presence. With each taste, we will be invited to notice the unfolding of flavour, the subtle shifts in texture, and the way aroma and memory rise together.

Through gentle guidance, we will be led into stillness, tasting not to consume, but to fully experience. Each moment becomes slower, softer and more alive.

The chocolate shared on the night is vegan, nut-free, soy-free and gluten-free, crafted with only cacao and sugar.

Afterwards, you're welcome to stay for dinner, drinks and a chat. 🍽️
