Since its inception in 1961, the American Folk Art Museum has highlighted the creativity of those whose remarkable talents have been cultivated through life experiences rather than formal training. With over 7,000 works of art spanning four centuries and nearly every continent, the collection is a treasure trove of portraits, quilts, and contemporary pieces across various mediums.
About Nicole Haroutunian:
With a career rooted in art education, Nicole has worked with several esteemed institutions, including MoMA and The Morgan Library and Museum. She is also the author of the novel-in-stories Choose This Now (Noemi Press, 2024). Living in Woodside, Queens with her family, she brings a wealth of knowledge to this tour.
