This traditional festival, marking the 15th day of the Nepali month of Asaar, invites farming communities to unite in planting paddy, welcoming the rains, and celebrating the start of the rice-growing season.

📍 Location: Parengtar, Kalimpong, on the Indo-Bhutan border, is where the heart of the festival beats, embracing collective labor, delicious food, captivating music, and the joy of working the land.

🌧️ On June 29th, immerse yourself in the festive spirit as you step into the fields and engage with the rural life rhythms of the Eastern Himalayas.
