The renowned progressive/metalcore band Between The Buried And Me returns to Prague to present their new album The Blue Nowhere, releasing on September 12! Prepare for a unique blend of technical death metal, progressive rock, metalcore, and a multitude of unexpected genre twists!

Formed in 2000 in Raleigh, North Carolina, BTBAM has continually pushed the boundaries of genre, blending elements such as jazz passages and acoustic moments into their sound. Their debut album from 2002 showcased a ferocious mix of metalcore and progressive elements, but it was their albums Alaska (2005) and Colors (2007) that truly defined their iconic status in modern progressive guitar music.

Led by vocalist and keyboardist Tommy Rogers and guitarist Paul Waggoner, the band is celebrated not only for their technical prowess but also for their conceptual approach to albums. The Parallax II: Future Sequence (2012) features a meticulously crafted sci-fi narrative interwoven across tracks. Their ability to shift between aggressive growling, clean vocals, complex guitar riffs, and melodious segments keeps their music fresh and adventurous for metal fans.

With a reputation for uncompromising live performances, BTBAM delivers complex compositions with ease, often performing entire albums from start to finish, while incorporating innovative visual and lighting elements.
