From The Cure and Siouxsie and the Banshees to Interpol and Lebanon Hanover: why don’t you hear their records in the club? In a nightlife landscape dominated by electronic music, Blue Saturday creates a space for anyone who wants to dance into the early hours to alternative rock.

Four friends from Utrecht who missed guitar-driven music in the city’s nightlife decided to do something about it and founded Blue Saturday. From melancholic new wave classics like Blue Monday and Love Will Tear Us Apart to modern, raw post-punk anthems such as Boys In the Better Land (Fontaines D.C.) and Tear You Apart (She Wants Revenge).

Blue Saturday is more than just music. Step into a new world where you can dance among mannequins, chains, and twisting LED lights. Light, décor, and music intertwine to create a dark, theatrical, and exuberant atmosphere. Wear whatever your dark heart desires and step inside.
