Café Riche Recital…… Live Arabic Music & Dance….The Last Dance at the Palace!An exclusive Sydney event, Café Riche Recital offers a rare opportunity to experience the beauty of Tarab music performed live by the Sydney Arabic Music Ensemble. Produced by Jrisi Jusakos and the Hathor Dance Studio, this is an evening dedicated to the deep connection between music and dance in an authentic live setting.This will be the VERY LAST Café Riche Recital held at the iconic Amera’s Palace before we move on to a new chapter.The evening will feature a number of very special guest performances, including a rare solo appearance by Amera Eid, the original owner and visionary behind Amera’s Palace, as well as a special interactive performance by Ali Higson, the current owner who has continued the venue’s legacy and supported artists and musicians for many years.Joining them will be a carefully curated lineup of guest artists from Sydney and interstate, including Virginia Masri (Melbourne), Jrisi Jusakos, Jessica Moreno, additional guest performers and a special presentation by the participants of Big Egyptian Day Out and many more surprises!Accompanied by the incredible Sydney Arabic Music Ensemble: Emad Nosir – Violin Kosti Sifri – OudStuart Vandergraff – Nay & SaxophoneAtif Badria – Percussion & VocalsSpecial Guest Maktoum PlayerThroughout the evening you’ll experience the magic of live Arabic music, beautiful dance performances, moments of Tarab and, as always, an opportunity to get up, have a dance and enjoy the music for yourself.Set within an intimate cabaret-style environment, Café Riche Recital is designed to be warm, welcoming and social.
