Catharsis (from Greek κάθαρσις, katharsis — meaning "purification", "cleansing", or "clarification") refers to the purgation of emotions through dramatic art, or any extreme emotional state that results in renewal and restoration.

Within the world of Catharsis, high-calibre techno and the raw spirit of rave culture collide. Through emotive melodies and hard-hitting drums, the night constructs a sonic narrative that swings between euphoria and melancholy — a multi-dimensional dancefloor experience. Josefine's sets are propelled by tension, rhythm and instinct. She moves fluidly between tribal-leaning, percussive, melodic and old-school selections, building with purpose until it all climaxes into a frenzy of emotion. Techno at its core.

Malmö-based and active in the scene for over a decade, she founded and runs the Catharsis club concept.
