ᰔ ⊹˚₊ Ceramic Mahjong Charm Workshop ₊˚⊹ ᰔ

In this workshop, we’ll work on designing 2 ceramic (1 for you and 1 for a friend!) Mahjong tiles using underglazes. Together, we’ll learn and discuss the symbolism behind traditional and modern tiles. Using these tools, we’ll explore symbolism personal to ourselves and each design tiles tied to us. ⋆˙⟡
Together we will:
☆ learn about Mahjong suit symbolism
☆ design and draft tiles
☆ learn the basics of underglazing
☆ finalize and paint our designs
What you’ll take home:
☆ 2 ceramic Mahjong charms made by you with star keychain hardware attached
☆ please note that due to the nature of ceramics, pieces will be available to be picked up at a later date
