• Colored Pencil Sketchbooks: Great for beginners, but heavy drawing paper like Stathmore 400 or smooth watercolor/mixed media paper is recommended.
• Artist Grade Colored Pencils: Favorites include Lyra Rembrandt, Faber-Castell, or Prismacolor Premier.
• Eraser: White plastic or kneaded.
• Pencil Sharpener.

Optional Supplies:

• High-end paper like Clairefontaine Pastelmat (variety of colors, holds many layers).
• Drafting brush or large clean makeup brushes for keeping your paper crumb-free.
