WHAT IS IT?

Welcome to an exciting first in Lisbon! Selva Comedy Café unveils an interactive show where YOU hold the power in deciding who takes home the glory! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Get ready for a live competition that challenges comedians in a unique way. If you haven’t seen a Gong Show before, brace yourself for some exhilarating fun! 😮‍💨

Each performer has 30 seconds to impress you before judges (audience members) can raise a red card ❌. A card raised rings a bell 🔔.

• Accumulate 3 red cards, and it’s goodbye! 👋

To survive to the next round, comedians need to stay onstage for a full 3 minutes and can only receive a maximum of 2 red cards. If they succeed, they move onto the next round ⏭️.

The second round follows the same format until a final winner emerges, chosen by audience votes from the surviving comedians. 👏

WHY IS IT FUN?

Who doesn’t enjoy watching a little struggle (all in good fun, of course)? 😂

Comedians face the pressure to win you over, a bittersweet challenge—especially when those closest to you might think otherwise! 😮‍💨

Every performance promises memorable moments filled with laughter, and while the comedians aim to succeed, you’ll find yourselves becoming better comedians, better friends, and more empathetic people too! (Just remain mean as a judge!).

With around 15 comedians vying for the title 🏆, expect plenty of chances to boo and cheer. Are you ready to take on the challenge of voting people out?
