This remarkable performance will be brought to life by talented singers from the Chorworks summer program, directed by the Chapel's esteemed conductor-in-residence, Dr. Philip Cave. 🌟

Chorworks, founded by Dr. Cave, offers a week-long workshop designed for emerging singers to enhance their skills in early music repertoire. Renowned for his artistry, Dr. Cave has collaborated with iconic conductors like Leonard Bernstein and performed in prestigious venues including the Beethovenhalle in Bonn and the Sydney Opera House. His impressive résumé includes appearances across Europe and at the BBC Promenade Concerts in London, sharing the stage with notable musicians like Sir Peter Pears, Sting, and Sir Paul McCartney. 🎤✨

This year, we are thrilled to welcome both new and returning talents, including former Duke organ scholar Katherine Johnson, Duke student instrumentalists, and Duke faculty members Clara Rottsolk and Roseen Giles. 🌟

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich traditions of Venetian music!
