Join us for the Copenhagen Advanced Machine Learning Study Group (CAMeLS-Group), where we gather every second Monday to delve into a machine learning paper!
In today's world of endless online discussions and attention spans waning due to AI, we're embracing the art of in-person reading and discussion. Here’s how it works: bring your laptop or a printed copy of the paper—but don't read it beforehand!
During our session, we will read each section simultaneously, pausing for discussions before moving forward. After finishing the paper, we’ll engage in a broader conversation about it.
A foundational understanding of ML or related fields is recommended so you can confidently read papers in your area of interest. Don’t worry if you haven’t yet graduated; we welcome all eager learners willing to tackle research papers.
🔗 Future Paper Suggestions: Add your ideas to the paper voting sheet: Paper Voting Sheet
🎟️ Limited Seats: Please let us know if you can’t make it by cancelling your sign-up!
We will read the paper: Detecting Overfitting in Neural Networks during Long-Horizon Grokking Using Random Matrix Theory by Hari K. Prakash and Charles H. Martin.
