Crafternoon is a unique event designed for creativity and community! Join us in a relaxing tatami room at Black Bird Eatery where you can make things side by side with others. Whether it's drawing, painting, knitting, or even journaling, bring your passion and embrace the joyful act of creating in a tranquil space.

🎈 What to Expect:

• An inclusive atmosphere, perfect for everyone, especially neurodivergent individuals who enjoy "parallel play."
• An Origami Workshop will be held simultaneously in the counter area, so join in the fun!
• Enjoy the freedom to create with your hands while connecting with others in a mellow, welcoming environment.

👥 Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome, including total beginners! You don’t need to identify as neurodivergent or be a local resident—tourists are encouraged too. Simply bring your curiosity, and if you don’t have a craft, it’s fine to doodle or write!

🛠️ What Can You Bring?

• Your favorite craft materials (coloring books are encouraged!)
• A protective mat for messy supplies like watercolor or ink.
• If you prefer, you can bring a camping chair for extra comfort.

🎶 Sensory-Friendly Environment:
We provide a calm atmosphere with mellow lighting and the freedom to sit or lie down comfortably. Note: Please bring ear defenders if needed, as there’s a highway nearby.

📜 Event Policy:

• Cancellation: Can’t make it? Just let us know! We appreciate communication to keep the space comfortable for everyone.
• Respect: Always ask before touching anyone or their craft. Respect pronouns and avoid loud noises since some may be overstimulated.
• Photo Policy: No photos or recordings without permission, but some may be taken for promotional purposes. You can opt out if you prefer!
