Get ready for an unforgettable celebration of Caribbean music right here in Minnesota! 🌟 On August 8th, immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds of Trinidad & Tobago with over 100 steel drum performers from various ensembles showcasing their talent in two FREE concerts!
✨ Kickoff at 2:30 PM with a sensational performance by the world-renowned pannist, Liam Teague, often referred to as the Paganini of the Steelpan! 🌍 With roots in Trinidad & Tobago, and as the Head of Steelpan Studies at Northern Illinois University, Liam has graced stages all over the globe—don't miss your chance to hear him live!
🎷 Doors open at 5:30 PM for the evening concert—be sure to arrive on time to catch our incredible opening act: League Night Jazz!
🎉 At 6:30 PM, the Chops Pan Camp Ensembles will take the stage alongside Liam to showcase everything they've learned throughout camp. The evening will culminate in lively performances from three local steel drum bands: Panatics, Tin Cups, and Pan-Handlers.
