Comprised of Mike Hammond, Aly Hirji, the renowned film critic Mark Kermode, and Alex Hammond, this group is celebrated for their unique take on classic Americana.

Following the incredible success of their second album, Louisa and the Devil - described by Whispering Bob Harris as ‘wonderful stuff’ - the band has recorded The Sun Set, which Jools Holland hailed as a ‘marvellous new record’. This remarkable work was recorded at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, utilizing vintage recording techniques to channel the spirit of yesteryear. A BBC Radio 2 documentary chronicled their inspiring journey during this endeavor.

Their popular rendition of Rock Island Line, produced by Grammy Award Winner Steve Levine for the Liverpool International Music Festival, has even graced the Brian Epstein biopic Midas Man, featuring The Dodge Brothers as The Beatles' support act at The Cavern in 1961.
