Down Syndrome Festival & 5K

Join us for the Down Syndrome Festival & 5K at the beautiful Myriad Botanical Gardens! This wonderful event is dedicated to celebrating the extra 21st chromosome and fostering a community of acceptance, inclusion, and opportunity for individuals with Down syndrome. Whether you prefer to run, walk, fundraise, or just enjoy the festival, there’s a place for you!

🏃 Event Highlights:

• 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run kicks off at 8:00 AM on Sheridan Avenue.
• Awareness Walk begins lining up at 9:45 AM.
• Festival fun starts at 10:00 AM on the Great Lawn with inflatables, face painting, carnival games, music, talent shows, raffles, cotton candy, and delicious food from local trucks.
• Don’t miss the Raffle Drawings at 11:30 AM at the Band Shell!

🅿️ Free Admission & Parking:

This event is free and open to everyone! Complimentary parking is available just south of the gardens (accessible via Reno Avenue). Arrive early to secure a spot!

🤝 Get Involved:

Gather your family, friends, or coworkers to form a team for the walk, run, or fundraising efforts! Many teams showcase their spirit with matching shirts and posters. Once registered, you can start collecting donations through various methods.
