‘Drive My Car’ on Sunday 12.7 at 19 at Kino Světozor

Join us on Sunday, July 12th, for a screening of Drive My Car at Kino Světozor. The film begins at 19:30.

You’ll find me (wearing a bright pink/flowery scarf) at the Kino Světozor café from 7 pm.

The highly acclaimed 2021 film, directed by Japanese filmmaker Ryusuke Hamaguchi, follows ‘Yusuke Kafuku, a stage actor and director, still unable, after two years, to cope with the loss of his beloved wife.' He ‘accepts to direct Uncle Vanya at a theater festival in Hiroshima. There he meets Misaki, an introverted young woman, appointed to drive his car. In between rides, secrets from the past and heartfelt confessions will be unveiled’ (here).
