Intro

We'll hike 2 km from the border of Linkebeek into Uccle, aiming to catch the eclipse as twilight turns to darkness. 🌌

Start and Assembly Location

Meet on the north side outside of Hollebeek Train Station. We will depart at 18:45. A train leaves from Brussels Central at 18:18, arriving at 18:39.

No pets allowed this time. 🐾

The Hike and Your Preparation

This 2 km hike will take approximately 2.5 hours. Bring your eclipse glasses to protect your eyes! After the eclipse, we will walk in the dark, so a headlamp might be useful. 🔦

Endpoint

After the eclipse, we will walk into Uccle to the nearest bus stop. Alternatively, a train back to Brussels departs at 21:39.

Weather

Expect blue skies with temperatures between 27 - 31 °C. No rain is forecasted, but make sure to carry water! 💧

Community Contribution

To cover costs as a Meetup organizer, a voluntary contribution is requested:
