Fierce Mamas Brown Bag Lunches at The MAC
🥪 Welcome to the Brown Bag Commons.Every Monday, Fierce Mamas opens a shared table for caregivers.Bring your lunch. Bring the project you’ve been meaning to finish. Bring the insurance paperwork you’ve been avoiding, the knitting that’s lived in your bag for months, the collage you’re making from denial letters, or simply yourself. Some weeks we’ll make things. Some weeks we’ll swap ideas and resources. Some weeks we’ll quietly work alongside one another in the company of people who already understand the language of caregiving. There’s no agenda, no pressure to share, and no expectation that you arrive with anything figured out. Stay for twenty minutes or the whole lunch hour. Come every week or just when you need a place to land. The Brown Bag Commons is exactly what it sounds like: a shared space where caregivers can gather, create, connect, and simply be human together.📍 The MAC (Memphis Alano Club)🗓 Mondays🕛 12:00–1:30 p.m.💜 Free and open to caregivers of individuals with medical, developmental, mental health, behavioral health, or substance use challenges. We’re grateful to gather at The MAC, a new community space devoted to recovery, connection, and mutual support. While our lunches are not recovery meetings, we share a belief that people heal best in community. If you’re able, we encourage you to purchase a coffee, tea, soft drink, or snack from the Club’s café during your visit. Your purchase helps support this wonderful community resource and makes gatherings like ours possible.Whether you’re carrying art supplies, medical paperwork, or simply the weight of the week, there’s a seat for you at the table.
