This workshop is the third workshop in the Political ecology and Degrowth for youth project.
Now that we know what's broken about the system and future we would like to see, we are asking - how do we get there?
That's why, in this workshop, we will be focusing on possible pathways to change. What keeps capitalism in power? What can we do to change the system? We will explore strategies for systemic change, including Gramsci's concept of hegemony and Ekaterina Chertkovskaya's recent degrowth strategy theory, as well as historical cases of transformation.
Later Oskar Kluge joins us to talk about what organising for change looks like from the inside - including blocking motorways with Nødbremsen and helping to get three climate activists elected to the Folketing with Jordskred.
In the afternoon, Ana and Finn will lead a strategy workshop where you will have the opportunity to develop your own theory of change.
In short - what can you expect?
