From The Bobbin: Sewing 🧵 Workshop Series

Join us for From The Bobbin, a 3-part beginner sewing workshop series exclusively for women, hosted at the charming Barakah Beauty Collective! This series is expertly led by Michaela Corning and Olayinka Ola from Ayo Collections who will guide you from your first stitch to your very first project!

What to Expect:

• Hands-on Instruction: Gain practical skills and confidence in a supportive community.
• Bring Your Machine: Participants are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines. For those without, a limited number will be available.
• Group Discounts: Book all three workshops in advance and enjoy a $45 discount!

Workshop Schedule:

1. Session 1: Machine Basics + Your First Project

   • Learn the essentials of your sewing machine and create a beginner-friendly pencil pouch to take home.

2. Session 2: Garment Construction

   • Construct a caftan or skirt, enhancing your skills and confidence while working with fabric.

3. Session 3: Bring Your Project

   • Come with a project you’ve been wanting to tackle! Our instructors will assist you in getting started and troubleshooting.
