The Gaswerk Music Days embarks on its fourth edition in summer 2026, evolving as a community-oriented festival devoted to Radical Live Music. Spanning two consecutive weekends from July 24 to August 2, the festival invites audiences to six vibrant days filled with a variety of live performances and unique events. Hosted by Gaswerksiedlung Berlin, the festival takes place in the open-air gART.n, the concert venue BLOCK1, and surrounding creative studios, which actively contribute to the musical experience.
This festival, crafted by musicians for music enthusiasts, promotes open-mindedness and curiosity, featuring a blend of experimental electronics, African sounds, dub, avant-pop, kraut, improvisation, jazz, and dance music—all united under the Radical Live Music banner. With over 30 acts across two stages, this event is a celebration of diversity and an alternative to the mainstream music landscape.
In connection with the festival, the Spring and Autumn Gaswerk Music Concert series and other initiatives broaden the movement into new formats and venues across Berlin, nurturing a space for artistic exchange and fostering a vibrant artistic community.
