Ghostwriter Steve Schecter draws from a rich tapestry of influences such as country-blues, gospel, and rockabilly. With a combination of guitar and a unique homemade foot-percussion device, he crafts a lyrical and driven portrait of American roots music. From the ghost town of Friend, OR, and based in Austin, TX, he has shared the stage with legends like Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, T-Model Ford, and more. Schecter has also toured with artists like Dex Romweber and released ten albums under his own label.
