About the Forum

The global economy is transforming due to geopolitical uncertainty, supply chain restructuring, rapid AI advancements, and increasing demand for energy and resources. The circular economy is emerging as a strategic approach to enhance economic competitiveness, resource security, and sustainable growth.

Held during Climate Week NYC 2026, this forum will gather city and regional government representatives, international organizations, corporations, investors, startups, and climate innovation leaders from around the world.

Through business showcases, reverse pitches, keynote remarks, and discussions, the Forum will connect urban challenges with innovation and international partnerships. It aims to explore how cities can foster collaboration among various stakeholders.

This event is a crucial step toward Yokohama’s international initiatives in 2027, including GREEN×EXPO 2027 and the Asia-Pacific Circular Cities Forum.
