Glory Affairs & Sing Sing Soundsystem

Glory Affairs and Sing Sing Soundsystem are warmly inviting you all to a vibrant day event celebrating friendships with lots of electroacustic live music, interactive performances, dj sets, hair salon, fantasy living room.
The main impulse for the creation of the event is the visit of our friend and the artist KIM KHAN, who wanted to stop in Prague again and present his new live set created together with his friend Irwin from Paris. Kim Khan is a member of the Asian Dope Boys’ TRANCE and PHYSIS - one of a kind long durational experiences combining all sorts of audiovisual arts and artists across globe.
This time KIM KHAN will come with a new project that combines a wide range of musical and performative approaches. This event will also build on the long-term friendship between Glory Affairs and Sing Sing sounsystem friends.

musician, performer and composer, who wields power in the form of transformative
experiences, delivering the unexpected by being himself a bridge between frequencies – cultural and sonic. Unbound by his ability to flit didactically between traditional and contemporary instruments, KIM KHAN has cultivated a deep appreciation for the nuances of formal musicality that he experimentally applies to spiritual whims and ritualistic resonances in disparate club settings – transcendence, we have arrived. An avid traveler, he readily engages in global conversations to widen his perspective on the subjectivity of a “boundary,” learning to stand on either side of it. He remains not just inspired or influenced but healed, made anew by the recurring opportunities to transform himself and his music, to be reborn, again and again. The music KIM KHAN creates and engages with is reflective of a community of creatives who strive to push these boundaries, not just in their respective crafts or for the sake of doing so, but as individuals striving for emotional truths revealed through singularity. In his own performances, he engages all senses including the heart, as he fosters connections with the audience through awe and trust. Often found moshing, tap-dancing, throat singing, in the midst of an outfit change, or slapping the bass while rapping, KIM KHANis a shapeshifter, molding to nothing other than the present.

Butoh and harsh noise inspired, lovelifter is a project floating at the intersection of performance, live musiqs, text & meme. Latest installments are influenced by Paul B. Preciado’s writing & are reflections on invisible disabilities, chronic ailments, uncertainty and hope/re-birth in a hyper~militarised world. Mapping transitions from the chronically online to somatic iterations of deeply seated fears, wounds and queerness — lovelifter tests your senses for endurance, confronts
formal realities and entertains your soul.

✶ Kaa Glo (dj set)
Kaa Glo is the co-founder and creative force behind Prague’s MOTHERSPELLS
& Whiskas Collective . Known for her high-energy performances and distinctive
artistic flair, she infuses every set with bold character and playful edge.
Her sound smashes together the euphoria of hardstyle, the bounce of donk, and the nostalgia of 2000s club edits with flashes of jersey club or guaracha — a full-on serotonin overload for the dancefloor. Guided by her signature ethos, “hard, but never boring,” Kaa Glo brings an infectious energy that transforms every set into a celebration of intensity and joy.

Kristýna Canelanisipeanu is an audiovisual artist making sculptures, tattoos, creating music and community events. She is behind the project Kovošrot. She will be playing dj set and tattooing on this event.
