En vivo desde Rotterdam, Cuuumbia con mucha Dooombia. HIDDEN BEHIND X TIME welcomes artists from Bogota to Oud-Charlois for a summer’s night of Live Cumbia at Time is the new space with appearances by Los Dooombiamberos and T.E.C.A., supporting Conjunto Media Luna and La Pinche Tefi.

Conjunto Media Luna:
Musician and Producer Iván Medellín draws inspiration from accordion cumbia melodies of Colombia's Montes de María region and the contemporary sounds that have been forming over almost 60 years in Bogotá, Monterrey, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, and California. His sonic exploration led Iván to venture into a solo format that draws on electronics and accordion.

The Ensemble of Cultural Approximation (TECA):
Based between Amsterdam and Rotterdam, TECA delivers an authentic sound that they have coined "Shroombia”, a high-energy blend heavily inspired by various connotations of Latin American musical idioms, reinterpreted with a snappy, dreamy, and sometimes raw contemporary edge.

DOOOMBIAMBEROS:
In the name of the Great Cumbia Lord Landero, sacrifice your inner organs through the trembling roar of dooombia! …inspired by cumbia rebajada, the Dooombiamberos are in search of a heavy sound meant to expel all oppressive spirits that inhabit La Madre Tierra. An experimental cumbia trio - using various live instruments, drones and loops - consisting of Cinema Colombiano-founders Mitze Apocalipze and Chucho Vinilo, as well as ‘the Scientist’ Dada Phone: 2/3rd Colombian, 100% cumbia fanatics! Join the procession, embrace your dooom.

La Pinche Tefi:
Stephanie Ascanio, aka La Pinche Tefi will be spinning vinyl in between acts. As a selector, her style is rooted in tropical rhythms from Latin America, with cumbia as its central axis, and connections to funk, Latin soul, boogaloo, and psychedelic rock. As a cumbiera, her approach draws from the sonidero scene of the 1990s, passing through contemporary aesthetics from Mexico and the southern United States, while remaining deeply influenced by Bogotá’s cumbia scene
