Historical Costume at DragonCon 2026

Join us for the inaugural Historical Costume Photoshoot at DragonCon! 🎉 After years of anticipation, this unique event is finally happening! 📸 The shoot will take place at the Hilton steps A, utilizing a time slot previously reserved for another photoshoot.

Accepted Eras: From ancient history (like Roman and Egyptian) up to the 1920s! 🌍

• Accuracy Note: While we value historical integrity, costumes that might not be entirely accurate are perfectly acceptable.
• Character Costumes: Feel free to bring your historical versions of characters, such as a Victorian Harley Quinn or Rococo Sanderson Sisters. ⏳
• Exclusions: Please note that Steampunk and costumes blending various eras will not be accepted. Likewise, outfits from mainstream sources like Amazon or Party City are considered out of bounds. ❌

We'll be organizing the photoshoot by grouping each historical era. Keep in mind, due to time constraints, we won't be able to go by year or decade, so show up ready to represent your era! 🤩
