Join us for the Humanoid Hackathon Tokyo 2, Japan's premier event focused on humanoid robotics! 🌟 Hosted by Orboh Inc. & RobotMateHub, this exciting hackathon is all set to take place in Tokyo.

About This Hackathon

In its second edition, this hackathon features 4 Unitree G1 robots (tentative) for 8 teams (2 teams sharing each robot). Whether you're interested in VLA (Vision-Language-Action), teleoperation, motion control, or LLM integration, bring your innovative ideas and prototype them live! 🚀

• Venue: GMO Humanoid Lab, Cerulean Tower 11F, 26-1 Sakuragaoka-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo
• Number of Teams: 8 teams (approx. 32 participants)
• Theme: Applications on G1 — unleash your creativity!

How to Participate

1. Register individually on Luma (open from June 14)
2. Join our Discord and head to #hht-2-team-up to connect with teammates!
3. Apply as a team by July 3 here
   • Selection results announced on July 4
   • Confirmed teams will get Hacker tickets. Individual registrants not selected will receive a free Day 2 Viewer ticket!

(Teams must have at least one member with Ubuntu.)

• Engineers familiar with humanoid/Physical AI technology
• Individuals looking to solve social problems using humanoids
• Robotics, ML, or humanoid development enthusiasts wanting hands-on experience
• Startup founders, researchers, students — all are welcome! 🙌
• No prior robotics experience is necessary, even vibe coding is encouraged!

Schedule Overview

• July 11: Check-in, breakfast, development kick-off, lunch & dinner provided, and venue closes at 22:00.
• July 12: Venue reopens at 8:00, development continues, lunch provided, followed by demo presentations, judging, results announcement, and networking with light refreshments. Venue closes at 18:00.
