INDEPENDENCE WEEKEND AT WASHINGTON'S HEADQUARTERS STATE HISTORIC SITE

Join us for an unforgettable celebration of our nation's 250th anniversary at Washington's Headquarters! With an array of engaging activities for all ages, it's the perfect family outing for a fun and patriotic weekend!

🗓️ July 4th Events:

• 11:30 AM: Revolutionary War Trivia! Test your knowledge of the American Revolution for a chance to win exciting prizes.
• 1:00 PM: Live Musket Firing Demonstration & Wooden Musket Drilling for Kids! Experience history up close!
• 2:00 PM: The Declaration of Independence: Birth of American Liberty! Attend a special lecture exploring our nation's founding document's origins and influences.
• 3:00 PM: Tour of the 1887 Tower of Victory! Enjoy breathtaking views of the Hudson Highlands from the top!

🗓️ July 5th Events:

• 1:30 PM: Washington's Headquarters Through the Ages! Join us for a presentation on the evolving interpretation of WHQ, complete with striking images.
• 2:00 PM: Tour of the 1887 Tower of Victory!
• 3:00 PM: 18th Century Toys & Games! Bring your kids to explore popular toys from the Revolutionary period!

Space is limited! All events are free, first come first served, and subject to weather conditions.
Museum Hours:

• Saturday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
