For the third consecutive year, a dedicated team of tāne is bringing International Men's Day to Ōtautahi Christchurch. In cooperation with Tāne Whai Ora: Canterbury Men's Centre, we're excited to host our biggest gathering yet!

Join us for a free afternoon filled with facilitated workshops, honest kōrero (conversations), and a chance to build meaningful connections with tāne from around our city. Whether you're a seasoned participant in men's circles or stepping into a space like this for the first time, you are warmly welcomed!

• 11:30-12:00: Doors Open, Setup
• 12:00: Karakia, Welcome, Introductions
• 12:30: Group Session - Warmup & Activity
• 13:00: 1st Breakout Session
• 14:00: Tea & Snack Break
• 15:00: 2nd Breakout Session
• 16:00: 3rd Breakout Session
• 17:00-17:30: Group Closing, Karakia, Cleanup

🍽 Enjoy light meals, pastries, coffee, and drinks at the on-site café Barista Binks. Depending on attendance, we may invite a food truck to join us!

💪 Who Are We?
A small team of kāne rooted in Ōtautahi Christchurch, initially led by Bear Heart in 2024. This year, we proudly partner with Tāne Whai Ora: Canterbury Men's Centre. We understand how essential it is to find a space where you feel authentic and at ease.

• When should I arrive?: Doors open at 11:30 AM, and we start at noon. Arrive a little early if you can!
• Do I need to print my ticket?: No need! We can check you off by name, and having your QR code handy speeds things up.
• Unsure if this is for you?: There’s no pressure; participate at the level that suits you best!
• Can I just show up?: Please register in advance to help us plan for snacks and staffing.
