The Jan Kučera Trio will perform at U Staré paní.
In the words of the organizer: "We invite you to a special concert where you will hear exclusively jazz standards about love. Come and celebrate your love of music on this holiday of love."
The Jan Kučera Trio was formed in 1999 and consists of Jan Kučera on piano, Jan Kořínek on bass, and Radek Němejc on drums. In 2000, they released their CD Stav beztíže (State of Weightlessness), on which the then newly formed string quartet Epoque Quartet also plays with the trio. Over the following years, the trio played together only sporadically. Their repertoire consists mainly of jazz standards, but also includes their own compositions.
