Jazz in the City, presented in partnership with Ariel Media, honors the deep legacy of jazz and its profound influence on Seattle’s artistic culture.

In September, we are thrilled to feature the renowned Brazilian jazz artist Jovino Santos Neto, a former member of the iconic Hermeto Pascoal Group. Since relocating to Seattle in 1993, Jovino has become a key figure in the music scene as a performer, composer, and educator at Cornish College of the Arts.

For this concert, Jovino will be joined by talented bassist Peter Barshay and drummer David Flores, forming a dynamic piano trio ready to enchant the audience with vibrant and groove-driven Brazilian music. Don't miss out on this cultural experience!
