We're thrilled to introduce a fresh repertoire of social folk dances rooted in France, including variations of traditional dances like the waltz, schottis, and polka. Expect to participate in easy group dances, plus a lively polska! 🎶

The night kicks off with a workshop where you'll learn the steps to these enchanting Balfolk dances. Following the workshop, dance the night away to live music, with the dance instructor present to guide both seasoned dancers and beginners alike!

The music for the evening will be a delightful collaboration between the talented Belgian accordionist Sophie Cavez and the Swedish nyckelharpist Josefina Paulson. Their performance is infused with the flavors of their traditional backgrounds and personal musical styles. Sophie and Josefina prioritize vibrant rhythms, crafting a rich tapestry of sound that invites you to both relax and join the dance! 🥁🎻
