From civilian casualties and attacks on vital infrastructures like hospitals and schools, to the forced indoctrination of Ukrainian children and the obliteration of cultural sites, Russia's actions against Ukraine aim to annihilate an entire nation. Four years post full-scale invasion, many atrocities remain unpunished, while the Kremlin recognizes military units notorious for their war crimes.

Under a US-endorsed peace plan, Ukraine faces pressure to negotiate under Russia's stipulations, including a potential amnesty for Russian soldiers. In light of these challenges, we ask: Is justice for the victims achievable? What steps can ensure a true and sustainable peace in Ukraine? Should a judicial tribunal for Russia's crimes be set up after the war, and will Vladimir Putin face accountability?
