KBFTN 2026 #11 Tues Night Old Hickory Lower Lake

Overview

Join us for the Kayak Bass Fishing TN tournament on Old Hickory Lake! This event is open to all kayak and SUP anglers; KBFTN club membership is not required.

Pre-Tournament Briefing

• Captains Meeting: Livestream on Sunday, August 9 at 7:30 PM CDT on the KBFTN Facebook group page. A recording will be available for those unable to attend live.

Rules

• 2025/26 K.A.S.T. Rules apply. Familiarize yourself with the new terms and provisions.
• Duration: 4-hour event on Tuesday Night, August 11, 2026.
• Limit: Three (3) bass.

Public access points on the lower end of Old Hickory Lake include:

• Old Hickory Beach & Ramp (1101 Cinder Rd, Old Hickory, TN 37138)
• Rockland Boat Ramp
• Lock 3 Rec Area
• Walton Ferry Rd. Boat Ramp
• Old Hickory Boat Ramp at Sanders Ferry Park
• Mallard Point Park
• Hendersonville Greenway Parking/Kayak Ramp
• Drakes Creek Park North
• Drakes Creek Bridge

Fishing Boundaries

Competitors may fish in Old Hickory Lake and all tributaries accessible from the launch sites.

Portaging

Comply with K.A.S.T. rules regarding portaging: Anglers may portage over or around obstructions within the same waterway.

Event ID Code

An Event ID Code will be released on TourneyX and the KBFTN Facebook Page at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, August 11.

• Sunday, 8/9: Captains Meeting Livestream — 7:30 PM
• Monday, 8/10: Prefishing Deadline — 6:00 PM
• Tuesday, 8/11:
  • Event ID Code released — 5:00 PM
  • Earliest Launch — 5:30 PM
  • Lines in — 6:00 PM
  • Lines out — 10:00 PM
  • Photo submission deadline — 10:15 PM
  • Check-in deadline (on-site) — 10:40 PM

On-Site Check-In

Location: Pizza Ranch in Hendersonville.

Withdrawals

Competitors who fail to check in on-site should contact a TD or Judge when safely off the water.

No-Show Policy

If you registered but are not fishing, please inform a TD or Judge by text.

Fees

Payable on TourneyX (no cash at event):

• $20: Volt One 21-inch Challenge (optional)

Awards & Prizes

Competitors who check in on-site by the deadline will qualify for event points and/or prizes. Presence at the check-in location is required for door prizes.

Big Bass

Big Bass winners at each event will receive a Lew's Speed Spool Reel.

Qualifying

This tournament is a Qualifying Event for the K.A.S.T. State Championship, Crescent-MCO 16” Challenge, KBFTN AOY, and KBFTN State Team.

36 roll-overs from Events #3, 5, 6, 7, 8, & 10.
