Leviathans of the sea - life in a changing ocean
Join us for an enlightening talk on the profound effects of climate change on our oceans! 🌍
As human activities increase the emissions of fossil fuels, the carbon dioxide concentration in our atmosphere rises, contributing to global warming. This warming is causing significant changes in our oceans, making them warmer, more acidic, and in some areas, depleted of oxygen. These shifts affect all forms of marine life, from the tiniest plankton to the majestic leviathans of the sea.🐋
What to Expect:
- Insights into the current state of our oceans
- The impact of these changes on marine creatures
- A thought-provoking biblical reflection and challenge
Admission: Free, but donations are appreciated 💖
