Lightning Bug Boogie 5K

Join the Hickory Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism Department for the Lightning Bug Boogie 5K Trail Run! 🏃‍♂️💨

🕘 Time: 9 p.m.
📍 Location: Lake Hickory Trails, 1581 12th Street Drive NW, Hickory, NC 28601

This exciting course features a mix of paved and off-road trails, including hills, descents, tight turns, roots, rocks, and other trail-type features. All participants must have a light source, such as a headlamp or flashlight. 💡

💲 Registration Fees:

• Early Registration: $30 until Aug. 3
• Regular Registration: $35 after Aug. 3

📝 Register online: runsignup.com until Aug. 14 at 8:30 p.m.

🎽 A custom t-shirt is included with all registrations made before Aug. 3.
🏅 After the race, join us for an awards ceremony recognizing the top three men and women in all age categories, with winners receiving a custom medal!

📅 Bib and T-shirt Pickup:

• Thursday, Aug. 13: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. at Highland Recreation Center
• Race Day: 7 - 8:30 p.m.
