Join us at the Savannah History Museum for the Loyalists & Liberty: Savannah in the American Revolution exhibit! 🏛️✨ This new exhibition showcases 17 newly restored Revolutionary War-era cannons along with fascinating artifacts recovered from the Savannah River between 2021 and 2022.
🚢 Spanning 3,000 square feet, this landmark display not only highlights these remarkable cannons but also shares diverse narratives of those who participated in the Revolution and emphasizes Georgia's significant role in this pivotal moment in history.
🎉 Opened on Fourth of July weekend in celebration of America's 250th anniversary, this exhibit is available to explore daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 🌅 Don't miss the two cannons in their original found condition, three anchor fragments, and other stunning objects!
