MA FEST: Kartmann Kollektiv

🎶 Join us for a mesmerizing evening with the Kartmann Kollektiv! 🌌

Daniel Kartmann assembled this unique ensemble at the International Theaterhaus Jazz Festival in Stuttgart during Easter 2018. With a blend of seasoned and fresh talents, this open ensemble explores collective improvisation influenced by Miles Davis' masterpiece Circle in the Round.

Expect a transcendent experience as the group combines psychedelic brass themes that loop endlessly in varying pitches. Their collective improvisation is designed to guide both the audience and the musicians through a shared, almost spiritual journey. 🌍✨

The ensemble is thrilled to return to Prague for the MA FEST in February 2024, following their collaboration with Torsten Papenheim and the release of their album Halfway to Dawn on Ma Records.
