Maker Skills Workshops at LabSpace

Join us for the Maker Skills Workshops: Summer Series at LabSpace! 🛠️

Come dive into three exciting days of building and problem-solving, perfect for kids aged 8 to 14 who want to create functional and well-designed projects. We'll be working with real tools and diverse materials—from cardboard to tin cans! You can participate in a single day or register for the entire series!

Workshop Schedule:

1. Recyclable Desk Caddy (July 27)
   Focus on the balance between form and function while creating a sturdy organizer for your tools using recyclables. (Girl Scouts: Tinker and Create badge requirements fulfilled!)

2. Mechanical Story-Boxes (July 28)
   Explore mechanical motion as you build a frame using cams and axles. After mastering the mechanics, bring your story to life using materials from our scrap bins.

3. Desktop Pinball Arcade (July 29)
   Design and build your own playable pinball game! Test and tweak your creation for the ultimate fun and challenge!
