Malmö Techno Tales Chapter 2 with Dold - Inkonst

On May 23, Malmö Techno Tales returns to Inkonst, this time teaming up with Inkonst Club Night for Chapter 2.

For the very first time ever, none other than Arsenik Records’ own label boss Dold will take over Inkonst’s yellow brick floor and treat everyone to a 1.5-hour live set of top-class techno!

Dold crafts loopy, emotionally charged techno rooted in its purest forms. His sound blends the driving force of 4/4 with elements of ambient, IDM, breakbeat, and electro, maintaining a stripped-back yet deeply expressive character. Balancing club energy with introspective depth, his music is both evocative and timeless, channeling techno’s heritage while pushing it forward.
As support, we have a familiar face in the MTT scene, Malmö’s own Winola is back again! Expect it to be fast, dark, and uncompromising. And as always, we have MTT’s own general, Bad Balance, who will kick off the night and get everyone warming up their hips.

Stockholm repper Patrik Eriksson is a proponent of loopy and emotionally charged techno, with one eye sharply focused on its truest forms. Under his Dold moniker, the DJ and producer crafts moments designed for both home and club, resonating with evocative simplicity.
Since founding Arsenik Records in 2015, he has built a vital platform for techno on his own terms, steadily expanding its catalogue and showcasing the work of like-minded artists. This path has led to releases on some of the most respected labels around, including KEY, Token, Fuse, and Bassiani, as well as performances worldwide.
Positioned at the forefront of the European techno scene, Dold combines his timeless machine music across a wide range of sub-genres. While the linear thrust of 4/4 techno forms the backbone of his sound, his recorded work and live sets equally encompass ambient, IDM, breakbeat, and electro, but never fail to deliver consistency with inviting character and charm. Bad Balance - Kenopsia, Malmö Techno Tales (SE)
Malmö-based Bad Balance, founder of the mixcast series and club concept Malmö Techno Tales and one of the co-founders of the collective Kenopsia, began his DJ journey in 2020. It all started when he and a few friends took the leap to organize open-air events on the outskirts of Malmö. Since then, he has become a household name in his hometown and has had the opportunity to play at some of the most renowned clubs in Copenhagen.

He usually gravitates towards a mix of hypnotic and groovy techno sounds, with a penchant for blippy sounds, rhythmic beats, and round kicks.
