Mark Schultz Narrative Illustrations

Creative York proudly presents a solo exhibition featuring the renowned cartoonist, illustrator, and author Mark Schultz in the Kerlin Gallery! 🌟 This exhibition, sponsored by Steven and Ina Caplan, showcases original artwork from Schultz's illustrious career, which spans comics, illustration, science education, and adventure storytelling.

Mark Schultz is celebrated for his work combining pictures and words, adapting them for various storytelling styles. His acclaimed Xenozoic Tales comics have been in print for over 30 years! 📚 In collaboration with paleontologist Dr. Michael J. Ryan, he crafted the comic series SubHuman. His impressive portfolio also includes illustrating Robert E. Howard's Conan of Cimmeria and scripting a four-year run on DC’s Superman, Man of Steel. Plus, his illustrated novella, Storms at Sea, was released in 2015.

As part of his visit, Schultz will host an Inking and Illustration Masterclass on June 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This workshop is perfect for artists aged 15 and up, offering an opportunity to learn professional illustration techniques directly from one of the industry's top creators. 🖌️🚀 Participants will explore the tools, methods, and storytelling principles that define Schultz's work.
