Meditation – Calm Abiding

Über die Veranstaltung

Warmly welcome to our Monday meditation session! 🧘‍♀️✨

Join us for a session of basic shamata (calm abiding) meditation, where we provide short instructions in Swedish or English, depending on your needs. The aim is to calm and focus your mind, cultivating concentration and inner clarity. This practice serves as a foundation for insight (vipassanā) meditation.

We will alternate between sitting and walking meditation while primarily focusing on mindfulness of breathing.

Feel free to stay afterwards for a cup of tea! ☕

Where: Norra Hamngatan 14, Gothenburg
When: Every Monday from 18:30–19:45
Contribution: Voluntary, with a suggested donation of 40 kr
Registration: Please let us know in advance if you wish to participate by emailing meditation@tibetanskbuddhism.se before noon on the day of the event.
