Join us for weekly Casino (Cuban) Salsa classes that dive deep into the vibrant world of Cuban rhythms! 🌟

• Fundamental Basics: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
• Figures and Rueda de Casino: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Salon Ortega at the National Hispanic Cultural Center

(Park off 8th St and enter towards La Fonda del Bosque.)

✨ What to Expect:

• Learn essential patterns, steps, and musicality for a solid foundation in Casino Salsa!
• Familiarize yourself with various Cuban rhythms, including clave.
• Begin with fundamental steps and progressively incorporate new elements each week.
• Understand the roles of Lead and Follow and their significance.
• Enjoy dancing solo with Salsa suelta (shine movements).
• Explore exciting Cuban Rumba and Afro-Cuban dances.
• Discover colorful figuras (combinations) defined by expressive Spanish terms, such as Sombrero for the hat figure.
• Learn to dance a tiempo (with time) or contra tiempo (against time) based on the music style!

This experience is for everyone—no partner or prior experience required! Just bring your enthusiasm and let's dance! 🎉
