Montara Mountain & Devils Slide

Join us for an absolutely breathtaking day on the coast as we explore some of the most scenic trails in the Bay Area!

This adventure combines stunning ocean views, coastal mountain trails, and a unique urban hiking experience along the closed sections of the historic Devil’s Slide Highway. Expect sweeping Pacific Ocean vistas, rugged coastline, fresh ocean air, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts while soaking in one of California’s most spectacular landscapes.

📍 Location: Montara Mountain & Devil’s Slide Trail
🥾 Hike Details:

• Approximately 9 Miles
• Moderate to Challenging
• Significant elevation gain
• Coastal mountain terrain
• Not recommended for beginners
• Expect a steady pace

🎒 What To Bring:

• Plenty of water
• Snacks and trail fuel
• Layers (coastal weather can change quickly)
• Sturdy hiking shoes or boots
• Sun protection
• Positive vibes 😎

⚠️ Please Note: This route includes climbing, uneven terrain, and exposed sections. Participants should be comfortable hiking longer distances and elevation gain.

☕🍻 After the Hike: The adventure doesn’t have to end at the trailhead! We’ll be hanging out afterward at a local coffee shop and/or brewery for anyone who wants to stick around, grab a drink, share stories from the trail, and enjoy some extra community time. No pressure—just good people, good conversation, and good vibes.
