Join us for a magical evening at Losæter as we delve into the interplay between life, death, and regeneration in the presence of the Strawberry Moon! 🌿✨

What's Happening?

This unique Full Moon Gathering features collaborative work by artists Annike Flo and Lexie Owen through their project Necromantic Kitchen. The evening is divided into two engaging parts:

PART ONE: Graveyard Walk 🏴‍☠️

Meeting Point: Gamlebyen gravlund, 5 PM at the Oslogate/Ekebergveien entrance.
Explore the graveyard with Gravplassetaten, focusing on regeneration and the metabolic processes of life and death.

PART TWO: Offerings for the Dead 🍵

Meeting Point: Losæter, 7 PM.
Participate in making offerings for the departed by engaging in traditional Norwegian food crafts including making lefse, butter, and herbal tea. Bring a personal item to honor a loved one while crafting your tea blend!

As we gather, the duo will facilitate discussions exploring death as a transformative force, concluding with a special closing ritual. 🌌

About Necromantic Kitchen 🌱

This ongoing research project reinterprets the concept of necromancy, aiming to creatively engage with life, death, and the processes of decomposition. By connecting mourning with metabolic change, it aims to foster a new understanding of death as a generative journey rather than an end.
