Neighbor Day 2026

Join Middleton Community Church (MCC) for a heartwarming day of neighbors helping neighbors! Together, we'll volunteer with local partners to build community and celebrate our neighborhood. Service opportunities are available for all ages and abilities.

Neighbor Day is hosted by MCC in collaboration with various neighborhood organizations, including the Madison Area Food Pantry’s Forward Garden, Pope Farm Elementary, and WayForward Resources.

Schedule of Events:

• 9:00-9:30 AM: MCC Member Check-in (followed by abbreviated worship from 9:30-10:10)
• 10:00-10:30 AM: Neighbor Check-in (new this year: grab coffee & breakfast at registration)
• 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Neighborhood Volunteer Projects (look out for Momma Meg’s Ice Cream Truck making deliveries to each volunteer site)

2026 Projects:

• Landscaping at Pope Farm Elementary
• Harvesting produce at Forward Garden for Madison Area Food Pantry
• Neighborhood Food Drive (picking up and sorting) for WayForward Resources
• Creating and assembling "Welcome Back" gifts for Pope Farm Elementary School
• Harvesting native prairie seeds for Elderberry Neighborhood Association
